High school first year Yuu Yuutani has always been a good girl, following the rules, helping out around her house, and generally going through life unnoticed. From afar, she reveres her upperclassman and the school's Public Decency Officer, Atori Mizutori, and desperately wants her attention. When she realizes that the best way to get Atori to notice her is to be a delinquent, she begins to dress differently: she dyes parts of her hair a bright red, wears clips on her ears to resemble piercings, and attaches jumbo erasers to her shoes to give them thicker soles. Despite Yuu's best efforts and even with the advice of her natural born delinquent friend Suzu Suzukaze, all of her plans to be a bad girl go awry. Still, Yuu manages to befriend Atori and pledges to spend as much time as possible together, not knowing there are others vying for Atori's attention. In the process, Yuu has also gained the attention of the school's self-proclaimed idol, Rura Ruriha, filling her once-invisible life with more attention than she may be able to handle.

After inheriting the company from their parents, siblings Yuuhi and Yuamu Oudou have started to work at the Alien Trouble Consultancy, an organization that hunts aliens. Although they have never encountered aliens before, Yuuhi is desperate to meet one as he believes that an alien has stolen his important item, called the Earthdama. One day, while searching for extraterrestrial creatures, Yuuhi and Yuamu find a strange spot in the forest where many trees have fallen, forming a scenery similar to a crop circle. As they venture further, they discover a mysterious spaceship and enter it out of curiosity. To their surprise, they come across Yuudias Velgear, an alien from the Velgear Star Cluster. As it turns out, Yuudias is seeking to learn about Rush Duel—a card game popular among elementary school students—as he believes that it will save his home from a long war. With the siblings agreeing to teach Yuudias about Rush Duel, they eventually realize that their first contact with an alien may not be a random coincidence.

Ikurou Hoshi and Sara Haizaki are the concierges at Hotel Inhumans, a hotel that specifically caters to assassins. They fulfill all the requests their guests may ask of them, never uttering the word no. While Ikurou specializes in research into their clients' backgrounds and careers, Sara protects the hotel with skills to match that of the hotel's patrons. However, despite providing every service imaginable for these assassins, Ikurou despises those who kill for money and claims daily that he is going to quit his job. Yet the more requests he and Sara fulfill on behalf of their guests, the more Ikurou learns about the unexpected humanity found within the assassins. With every glimpse into the lives and motivations of those who murder for a living, the more he realizes assassins are not so different from him or Sara.

After the death of Felicidad's ruler, the despotic overlord Glaza seizes power and imposes an oppressive regime on the world's inhabitants. As for Ten and his fellow Farmagia friends, they command an army of monsters as they explore and battle across the treacherous lands of the Underworld, collecting resources to take back to their farm.
